Judy is the new Charlotte Commercial Market Executive for Capital Bank, a regional bank of the Southeast with 196 branches in North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida. In this role, she leads a dynamic and growing team of commercial and SBA lenders. Judy has more than 25 years of lending and leadership experience in serving commercial, government, business banking and private wealth clients.
Raised in Roanoke, VA, Judy moved to Charlotte nearly 20 years ago. Judy is not a dancer and is usually the last one on the dance floor. However, her passion for the community and the opportunity to support the Charlotte Ballet and the YMCA of Greater Charlotte’s Y Readers Program was enough to encourage her to step out of her comfort zone.
Judy is passionate about her community and serves on the boards of the Harris YMCA, Charlotte Regional Partnership, Charlotte Chamber of Commerce, Advantage Carolina and Women Executives. She is a graduate of Leadership Charlotte (Class 31) and member of the Rotary Club of Charlotte and Urban Land Institute Charlotte Chapter.

Josh started dancing at Lisa’s Dance Academy in Syracuse, NY. At age 8, he moved to North Carolina and started training at Dance Productions under Denise Britz-Clarke and Ed Phelan, and at Piedmont Dance Conservatory under Rebecca Massey Wiley and Daniel Wiley. He attended high school at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts where he studied under Warren Conover, Nina Danilova, Douglas Gawriljuk, Nigel Burley and Ethan Stiefel. Josh attended summer intensives under full scholarship with Miami City Ballet, Charlotte Ballet and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. Josh has performed as Siegfried in Swan Lake and as the Snow King and Cavalier in Nutcracker.

YMCA of Greater Charlotte’s Y Readers Program
Y Readers is the YMCA of Greater Charlotte’s nationally-recognized literacy program designed to provide the additional support that students need to be proficient in reading by the end of third grade. The program, offered to families at no cost, focuses on improving students’ literacy skills and self-confidence in the classroom. Y Readers employs certified teachers to operate a six-week summer camp and an afterschool program to serve students in rising 1st-3rd grades who have a demonstrated need for literacy support. The program serves more than 800 students annually across three school districts.
