Charlotte Ballet in the

Community & Schools

Charlotte Ballet’s programming engages students, teachers and the community-at-large in a range of artistic activities that allow them to learn about dance as an art form.

Through innovative programs, dynamic performances and collaborative partnerships Charlotte Ballet makes dance accessible to all communities.

Charlotte Ballet has a strong commitment to sharing the dance art form with everyone. Our workshops, programs, performances and residencies are available to all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds.

School Programs

Charlotte Ballet’s school programs cater to students and teachers. We pride ourselves in sharing what we love most to educators and their students through educational performances, in school residencies and lecture demonstrations. We strive to provide educators resources for dance as an art form.

Adult Programs

Adult programs provide opportunities to view dress rehearsals of main stage productions and participate in movement workshops. Charlotte Ballet strives to be inclusive of all ages and seeks to share dance as an art form.

Community Programs

Community programs give a chance for the organization to serve the public in their communities or invite them to ours through community workshops, the award winning Reach program and behind-the-scenes tours at Patricia McBride & Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux Center for Dance.
