This December celebrate the magical sights and sounds of the holidays at Charlotte Ballet’s Nutcracker. Create a memorable holiday tradition when you bring your family and friends along for this holiday voyage featuring choreography by Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux, live music from the Charlotte Symphony, over 100 dancers and a breathtaking snowfall.

NEW THIS YEAR: We’ve added VIP Experience tickets to 2 PM performances on December 12, 13, 19 and 20. VIP Experience tickets includes an exclusive post-show meet and greet with the Stars of the show.

About Charlotte Ballet

Led by internationally acclaimed President and Artistic Director Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux, Charlotte Ballet is known for its strong dancers and versatile repertoire, ranging from classical ballet like the Nutcracker, to bold, contemporary works. The company of 25 professional dancers, who make Charlotte their home, annually present five performance series in Charlotte during a season spanning from October to April. In December 2014, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts presented Associate Artistic Director Patricia McBride with a 2014 Kennedy Center Honor.

Sarah Hayes Harkins

Originally from Waynesville, NC, Sarah has been dancing with Charlotte Ballet for 8 seasons and also attended Charlotte Ballet Summer Intensive before joining the Company.



Charlotte Ballet Academy offers a nurturing and structured environment that encourages individuality, creative expression and an appreciation for the art of dance.
