Video Company Auditions

If you were unable to attend the in-person Company audition on February 5, 2017 in New York City, we welcome dancers to submit online applications.  Please send the following materials to

– Full resume giving details of height, weight, nationality, professional training and experience

– Photographs including a headshot and full body dance image

– Digital links providing examples of both classical and contemporary repertoire

Please note, your application will not be reviewed until we receive all requested materials.

National Audition Tour DVD/Video Audition

If you are unable to attend an audition in person during our National Audition Tour, Charlotte Ballet will accept video auditions beginning Monday, January 2, 2017 through Monday, February 13, 2017 and will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Submissions must include a completed DVD/VIDEO AUDITION FORM, a $40 video audition fee, a 4×6 headshot, and a 4×6 photo in first arabesque. Video auditions should be no longer than 10 minutes in length and must include a live introduction with name, age, years of study, and current place of study. Video should have center work including adagio, petite allegro, grand allegro, pirouettes (en dehors and en dedans), and pointe work for women. Men should include tour en l’air and allegro that includes beats and pirouettes.

If you prefer to submit your video audition materials via email, you may do so by submitting one video link. Video auditions sent in separate/multiple links will not be reviewed. The video audition form, payment, and required photos (see above) must be submitted together as one PDF email attachment.
