Thank you to all who attended our 50th Anniversary Celebration performances!

“There was so much to love! Ballet is back! There was an interesting variety in the selections! The Dancers are phenomenal and so was the symphony!! Loved every minute of the 50th celebration!!” – audience member

Thank you to all who attended our 50th Anniversary Celebration performances last weekend. Seeing the Belk Theater filled with audience members for the first time in 18-months made our anniversary even more special than we ever imagined.

It was an honor presenting Crystal Pite’s A Picture of You Falling and Val Caniparoli’s Ibsen’s House at Charlotte Ballet for the first time, welcoming back Former Artistic Director, Salvatore Aiello’s, piece The Rite of Spring for the first time since 2003, and premiering interim Artistic Director, Christopher Stuart’s Then, Now, Forever. These pieces made our return to the stage so powerful and showed the inspiring artistry we strive to share with the Charlotte community.

Take a look at some photos from the incredible weekend of performances.
