Bridget Fox began her dance training at the Academy of Movement and Music in Oak Park, Illinois. At age 15 she joined A&A Ballet in Chicago where she performed in various lead roles, including the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker. During this time Bridget competed in the Youth America Grand Prix international finals both as a soloist and in ensembles. She has toured internationally in Guatemala and Cuba. In addition, she has spent summers training with San Francisco Ballet School, Joffrey Academy, Kansas City Ballet School, and Orlando Ballet School.
Bridget joined Charlotte Ballet’s Pre-Professional Trainee Division in the fall of 2022. There she performed with Charlotte Ballet in Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux’s Nutcracker, including roles as Marzipan, Snow, and Flowers, and in Christopher Stuart’s Peter Pan. During her time as a trainee she performed as the lead ballerina in George Balanchine’s Walpurgisnacht Ballet from Faust, staged by Patricia McBride, and in Alejandro Cerrudo’s Lickety Split. Bridget is excited to be beginning her professional career with Charlotte Ballet II.
