Izonna, from Scotia, NY, began dancing at age five at Myers Ballet School in Schenectady, NY. At age 12, Izonna continued her training at the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet school in Carlisle, PA, where she had the opportunity to perform roles in “George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker™️” as well as Balanchine’s “Raymonda Variations”, and “Who Cares?”. Izonna was accepted into The School of American Ballet (SAB) in New York, NY at age 15 and continued there until her graduation at age 19. While at SAB, Izonna choreographed two ballets as part of the Student Choreography Workshop and performed in the school’s annual end-of-year Workshop performances. During Izonna’s years at SAB she was the recipient of an Honorary Scholarship named for Judge Judith Kaye. Izonna has attended summer programs at Boston Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and Charlotte Ballet. Izonna joined Charlotte Ballet II in 2022.
