1. Ensure your spot
Want to make sure you have a place in the audition class? You can pre-register beforehand to ensure your spot! All that’s left to do is turn in your photos and pick up your number at check-in.
2. What exactly are you auditioning for?
When you audition as part of the 2019 National Audition Tour, you will be considered for our 2019 Summer Intensive!
3. Stress Less
No need to worry about being tapped on the shoulder and asked to leave! Kiss that fear of being cut goodbye. The audition is a full techniques class and you will get to experience the entire class. Ladies, don’t forget your pointe shoes!
4. We are coming to you!
Don’t live in Charlotte? No worries! Our National Audition Tour is traveling to Miami, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, St. Louis, Chicago, Austin, Winston-Salem, Philadelphia, New York, Raleigh and Boston, as well as a couple of dates right here in the Queen City!
5. Video audition
Can’t make it to any of the tour dates? No problem! You can send in a Video Audition beginning January 2 through February 5. Submissions must include a completed Video Audition Form, a $35 audition fee, a 4×6 headshot, and a 4×6 photo in first arabesque. Video auditions should be no longer than 10 minutes in length and must include a live introduction with name, age, years of study, and current place of study. Video should have center work including adagio, petite allegro, grand allegro, pirouettes (en dehors and en dedans), and pointe work for women.
